About the Band
We are Ready Weather, a four-piece pop rock band from Glasgow, formed by Lauren Black (vocals), Lorne Black (guitar), Lewis Print (bass), and Rory Breaker (drums).
Our music blends energetic pop rock with emotional depth, drawing comparisons to artists like Nothing But Thieves, Wolf Alice, and Placebo.
Since our debut show in July 2024, we’ve quickly made a mark in the local music scene, playing iconic venues such as King Tut’s. Our next show will be on March 22nd, where we’ll be supporting EEVAH at The Garage.
We’ve just released our latest single, “Happy To See You”, which has been featured on BBC Introducing, further amplifying our presence in the UK music scene.
Over the past few years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to creating a unique and what we consider a captivating sound, and in the last year, we’ve taken the exciting step of performing live. With the momentum we’ve built through our music and the positive response we’ve received from both live performances and recorded tracks, we feel this would be perfect moment to present ourselves to the international industry.
Our upcoming EP, which will feature a collection of our latest tracks, marks a significant milestone in our development as a band. We believe showcasing this music at this point will amplify our visibility and hopefully give us new opportunities as we continue to grow and expand our reach.
